1. Organization Identity & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the digital home of Friends of Orphans Support Network (FOSN), a registered charitable non-governmental organization operating under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By accessing our website, donating, applying as a volunteer, or utilizing any of our member portals, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Voluntary Charitable Donations & Refund Policy

All monetary gifts, pledges, and contributions processed through our integrated Flutterwave payment gateway are voluntary, non-refundable donations deployed directly to fund orphan education scholarships, nutrition relief, pediatric healthcare, vocational training, and shelter improvements across Abuja, Bayelsa State, and surrounding communities.

• Currency Conversion: Donations accepted in NGN (₦), USD ($), GBP (£), and EUR (€) are converted at prevailing institutional rates determined by Flutterwave.
• Official Receipts: Every confirmed donation generates an official digital FOSN receipt containing a unique transaction reference for tax and auditing records.
• Designated Campaigns: If a specific campaign reaches its target, surplus contributions are allocated to emergency orphan relief and medical contingency funds.

3. Child Safeguarding & Beneficiary Protection

The safety, dignity, and psychological well-being of the orphans and vulnerable minors under our care is our highest non-negotiable priority. FOSN strictly adheres to the Child Rights Act of Nigeria and global child protection standards:

• No direct, unsupervised, or unmonitored communication is permitted between donors and minor beneficiaries.
• Photographs, videos, and impact narratives published on this platform are used solely with verified legal guardian consent and partner home authorization.
• Commercial exploitation or unauthorized replication of beneficiary photos is strictly prohibited.

4. Volunteer Engagement & Code of Conduct

Individuals registering as FOSN Volunteer Corps members represent the organization and agree to maintain the highest standards of integrity, respect, and punctuality during field outreaches. Volunteers undergo screening, agree to non-disclosure of sensitive child records, and receive official digital credentials only upon coordinator vetting.

5. Financial Transparency & Governance

Under the leadership of President Imoisili Emmanuel and our Board of Trustees, FOSN is committed to absolute fiscal accountability. Quarterly stewardship reports, outreach dispatches, and certified audits are made accessible to regular partners and oversight authorities.

6. Intellectual Property & Brand Trademarks

The FOSN emblem (the embracing human heart figures in royal blue and gold), name, multimedia materials, and web designs are protected intellectual property. Unauthorized use for commercial fundraising without prior written authorization is unlawful.
